Saturday, November 23rd – in the Minden Santa Claus Parade – 11:30am – downtown Minden
On Saturday, November 23rd Santa is also planning a visit to the Rails End Gallery in Haliburton Village from noon until 2 pm. You can visit with Santa, have your picture taken (optional) by Schell Photography for just $5 and enjoy crafts with Rails End Volunteers. All are welcome! Hot cocoa and cookies too! (Thank you to the Haliburton BIA and Haliburton Lions for partnering on this fun event!)

The Festival of Trees at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre is a magical event for the entire family. Enjoy the lights and outdoor arrangements as you stroll throughout the grounds. Find beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands, gift baskets & gift certificates. All items available to be won by raffle. Visit the Sugar Plum Candy Shop, Silver Bell Gift Shop, Free Art/Craft Activities for Children. Raffle tickets 6/$5. Raffle draws begin at 3pm Nov. 24. Raffle sponsored by Minden Rotary Club.
And on Sunday, November 24th Dysart is hosting its first ever “Ugly Christmas Sweater Run” starting at the town docks in Haliburton at 10am. Registration is free but participants are encouraged to bring a donation to the food bank and the Dysart Rec. Program (which needs sporting equipment).
